Variohm acquires Heason Technologies
Heason Technology Limited, the specialist supplier of precision motion control equipment to the aerospace, printing, fibre-optics, simulation and robotics industries, has become the newest member of the Variohm Holdings group of companies.
The engineering and sales functions will continue to operate from the existing premises at Broadbridge Heath near Horsham, but some of the administrative and accounting functions will be transferred to the group headquarters at Towcester, Northamptonshire.
Variohm Holdings, through its existing member companies, is a recognised supplier of sensors for pneumatic and hydraulic systems; the addition of Heasons to the group will provide additional expertise in the area of electric/electronic control and positioning technology.
Shared marketing activity will provide Heason with greater exposure and will also mean that the group is able to offer a more balanced product portfolio and provide a more comprehensive service to its customers.
