Vertical borer is available 24/7 for machining large components

Rewinds and J Windsor has invested in a Webster & Bennett vertical borer and greatly increased its machining capacity. The machine, which could well be the largest in the North West of England, offers machining capability for parts of up to 3m in diameter, 1.5m high and weighing up to 40 tonnes.

The double-column, vertical borer enables a wide range of components to be machined, from large castings to fabrications in either single units or production runs.

Unlike many other companies, availability is 24/7, so RJW can offer fast turnarounds, with a focus on emergency service.

Demonstrations of the new machine can be booked through Mark Lavelle at RJW Ltd. Email [email protected] or telephone +44 (0)151 207 2074.
