Vertical electromechanical axis operates singly or in tandem

Camozzi Automation's versatile Series 5V Vertical Electromechanical Axis operates at high speeds over multiple axes and can also be used in tandem, resulting in superb synchronicity and great accuracy.

The precision offered by this versatile device makes it suitable for use in a wide variety of applications including pick and place, dispensing, handling, palletising and loading/unloading systems.

Available in sizes 50, 65 and 80 and with strokes up to 1500mm, the multi-position vertical system can be easily integrated as the vertical axis of an x-y-z gantry system or cantilever in applications that need to move loads for long strokes quickly; thereby optimising the machine cycle time.

Thanks to a specific pulley system with omega configuration, inertia of the belt driven system is reduced to a minimum. In addition, the presence of one or more recirculating ball guides (HS Version) as well as a special self-supporting square profile, provides high stiffness and resistance to dynamic loads, ensuring a precise and fast conveyance of heavy loads. Series 5V is also available in a version with integrated shock absorbers.

With an operating temperature of -10degC to +50degC and storage temperature of -20degC to +80degC, the axes have centralised lubrication by means of internal channels and are the latest example of Camozzi Automation's forward-thinking technological innovation for electrical actuation applications.
