Vibratory bowl feeds pharmaceutical rubber bungs

Elscint Automation has developed a vibratory bowl feeder for feeding rubber bungs that are used by pharmaceutical companies for sealing bottles. Quality and aesthetics are of major importance, as well as the the feed rate.

Elscint has achieved all of these in this vibratory bowl feeder. Additionally, the bowl is designed in such a way that removal for autoclaving is very quick.

Elscint makes this type of pharmaceutical industry-compliant bowls in stainless steel grade 316 and the shape is conical. The fabrication and welding of these bowls is critical. However, Elscint's skilled engineers and technicians achieve seamless welding and the bowl is polished to provide a mirror finish.

The cover is also made of stainless steel and is screwed to the vibratory drive. Speeds of up to 800 parts per minute can be offered. The sizes of the bowls are relatively compact, making it easy to remove the bowl for autoclaving.
