HBM's new catmanAP software provides video-synchronisation and auto-sequences to help rapid data acquisition, visualisation and data analysis. The software ensures measurement engineers benefit from ease of control and its many powerful functions cover a wide range of activities.
Video-synchronisation enables the measurement data to be synchronised and visualised on the basis of videos that are recorded at the same time. A cursor visualises and controls the current video position in the measurement data. If required, videos and graphics can be buffered for subsequent logging. Video film and data can be co-ordinated graphically if they have gone out of sequence.
Auto-sequences can be used to easily automate measurement and analysis by graphically arranging function blocks. This innovative and convenient method enables custom-made systems - such as a functionality test rig, for example - to be implemented without the need for programming.
catmanAP offers all of the benefits provided by intelligent TEDS transducers. It takes no more than 18 seconds to set up the amplifiers and display measurement values. With catmanAP, 'plug-and-measure' has become reality.
HBM can supply existing catman users with updates for activating these new functions. A free demo version can be downloaded or ordered at www.hbm.com/catman.
