Videojet improves TCO with new Continuous Ink Jet printers

Manufacturing facilities are experiencing growing pressure to streamline production processes, reduce downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Depending on the specific model, a customer running a 12 hour, 6 days per week operation will see anywhere from a 23 per cent to 44 per cent improvement in core longevity compared to our earlier 1000 line models."

The new Videojet 1530 and 1630 CIJ printers are suitable for a broad range of marking applications and cover a breadth of line speeds found in today's packaging environments. The Videojet 1560 and 1660 offer these same advantages and also include on-board Code Assurance and Productivity Tools as standard. The advanced Code Assurance software mistake-proofs operator inputs and reduces coding errors, ensuring manufacturers get the right code on the right product time after time.

In addition, the intuitive touch-screen interface provides instant access to on-screen availability data and fault information to fix the root cause of downtime quickly and permanently.
