PP Electrical Systems is launching a series of educational videos stressing the importance of interconnectivity and the importance of investing in new technology. The company, which works with 12 of the largest machinery manufacturers across the globe, has published the sound bites on its website (www.powerpanels.uk.com) to highlight key issues affecting the sector.
The videos - shot at the firm's 40,000 sq ft facility in the West Midlands - cover the technology behind Crimp Force Monitoring and the benefits it provides, the advantages of cage clamp technology for easy wiring and better interconnectivity and how using Torque tools ensures secure connections and reduces the risk of failure and downtime.
There are also insights into meeting UL508a regulations (crucial for trading in North America) and the merits of using suppliers that invest heavily in automated test equipment and full traceability.
Tony Hague, Managing Director of PP Electrical Systems explains: "Video is becoming more and more popular when it comes to telling your story, especially when your message can be very visual. Our first five sound bites take into consideration some of the most prominent questions and issues our technical experts have faced and provide an initial insight into solutions companies can strive for. There has been a lot of initial interest and I know this series is proving popular across social media, including Twitter and LinkedIn."
