Vipa appoints two new distributors in Ireland

ACI - Automated Components Ireland Ltd is part of the PAK Automation Group, established in Co Dublin in 1983 with interests in packaging automation and robotics through its subsidiary companies PAK Automation Ltd and Automation and Robotics Ireland Ltd.

ACI is headed by David Downes, who has gained an extensive knowledge of manufacturing automation with major projects involving Kawasaki and Toshiba robots. The newly formed company aims to combine the technologies of its sister companies with the supply and support of a wide range of automation solutions from components level products through to SCADA and complete factory automation systems.

Engineering Automation Solutions Ltd, based in Co Limerick, has an extensive knowledge in manufacturing processes and offers a complete systems integration service for automated manufacture and test, electrical controls and information systems.

Engineering Automation Solutions directors Michael Beston and Richard Stapleton formed the company using over 30 years' combined experience in engineering and management of high-technology production and information system projects.
