Virtualisation technology explained online in webcasts

National Instruments has announced the Embedded Virtualisation Webcast Series, a live, joint webcast series from NI and Intel that focuses on virtualisation technology, from introductory information and business benefits, to key underlying technologies and implementation details. By viewing this free webcast series, engineers, scientists and embedded designers can gain important information necessary to understand virtualisation, select software and implement projects.

Virtualisation technology explained online in webcasts

The webcast series consists of four sessions, beginning on 8 December 2009 at noon and 12:30pm Central Standard Time, with sessions following on 9 and 10 December at noon Central Standard Time. The sessions cover:

  • The business case for embedded virtualisation
  • Choosing embedded virtualisation software
  • Understanding how Intel Virtualisation Technology (Intel-VT) makes virtualisation possible
  • Configuring and using a virtualised system
