Walk-in temperature and humidity test chambers
Unitemp is introducing a new range of cost-effective walk-in temperature and humidity test chambers. This EWSX282 series is manufactured by the ESPEC corporation and consist of five models. They have been developed primarily for the reliability testing of full size solar panels and PV modules, but they can also be used for electronic/electrical components and equipment, as well as automotive products. The range meets the requirements for complete certification testing of solar panels and PV modules to IEC or UL standards.
Constructed from high-quality steel with hermetically welded seams and a stainless steel interior, the chambers operate satisfactorily under the extreme conditions required by the IEC. They can therefore test large loads at 85degC and 85 per cent relative humidity, as well as being used for humidity freeze and temperature cycling tests.
The controls are situated on the side and have an intuitive touchscreen LCD display. A viewing window is incorporated within the door.
Internal dimensions are approximately 1.83m x 1.83m x 1.83m, the temperature range is -70 to +180degC and the change rate is 1.67degC/minute. An optional module rack with rollers is available.
