WDS revamps 800-page catalogue for improved navigation

WDS manufactures and distributes Europe's largest range of standard parts for use as machine build components. With its own in-house R&D and manufacturing facilities the company has built up a large portfolio of products which is continuing to expand. Additions to the new catalogue include: anti-vibration mounts, anti-vibration feet, ball transfer units, safety quick release pins, coloured button indexing handle, wire thread repair kits and cam clamps. The catalogue now includes over 15,000 products, which have all been designed around the known requirements of WDS's customers.

With such a comprehensive range of components available it is important that navigation of the catalogue is made easy for both new and long-term customers. To this end the catalogue features three indexes: a numerical index (for users who know the exact part number they are looking for), an alphabetical index and a picture index. To further improve navigation some products have even been duplicated so that they feature in all relevant product sections, which are individually colour coded.

The new catalogue is one of the largest that WDS has ever released and is available to order from WDS. As with all WDS components, fully annotated files are also available free to download in most popular CAD formats at www.wdsltd.co.uk. Every product in the catalogue includes a picture along with technical drawings, dimensions, specifications and part numbers.
