Renishaw's graduate scheme ranked in national top three

In the 2019 JobCrowd rankings Renishaw has again been ranked amongst the top three companies for graduates to work for in the UK's engineering and manufacturing sector. The company is ranked second in this year's larger graduate intake in its industry and ranked as 45th in the top 100 companies for graduates to work for across all UK sectors.

NSK Click!Speedy simplifies specification of linear guides

Machine builders can now access a useful Click!Speedy online tool from NSK to create customised linear guides in a fast and easy-to-use format. The Click!Speedy linear guide design tool is capable of producing bespoke items based on specifications such as type, size, length, seals, lubricant and lubrication unit. In each case, the part number, data sheet, PDF drawing and CAD data of the customised linear guide are provided by download link or email.

Video shows e-chain inspired by nature and designed for industry

igus has produced a short video to introduce the new E4Q energy chain for unsupported and long travels. The chain links of the e-chain have a pebble-shaped design for weight reduction and a completely new crossbar locking mechanism that enables the energy chain to be opened by hand, in seconds.

Show preview: RARUK Automation at IMHX 2019

At its first appearance at IMHX (24-27 September 2019, NEC, Birmingham), RARUK Automation will showcase a new intelligent, small parts pick and storage system with huge time-saving benefits. The new EffiMat system with patented Box Mover Technology, can pick five items at the same time from different positions within its vertical shelving systems and deliver them all to the picking station on the same tray. Renishaw runs two workshops for Girls into Technology event

Renishaw ran two workshops at a Girls into Technology event held at SGS Berkeley Green UTC, a university technical college in Gloucestershire, UK. Hosted collaboratively by several employer partners, the event showcased the technology industry to girls aged 12 to 14 and outlined the large variety of careers available in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Testco now stocking Pickering reed relays
