Harting commissions inspection robot for connection systems

The Harting Technology Group is setting the standard for system development with the commissioning of a new inspection robot for inter-car connection systems. At the official commissioning of the robot, Christian Schumacher, Managing Director, Harting Customised Solutions (HCS) said: "These additional test options mean we're expanding inspection expertise in this area. Visit Aerotech at the LASER - World of PHOTONICS show

igus has extended its readycable product finder online tool to incorporate a service life calculator that predicts the lifetime of the cable. The tool enables designers, looking for highly flexible drive cables for energy chains, to select the required cable, from more than 4200 cable types, according to 24 manufacturer standards.
