Updated Technical Hydraulic Handbook exceeds 800 pages

Lee Products has published Edition 12 of its Technical Hydraulic Handbook, a catalogue that embodies over 70 years of innovation in miniature fluid control. The handbook contains more than 800 pages, including around 100 pages of engineering reference information to assist engineers in the design and analysis of fluid systems.

Leuze electronic safety expertise at LogiMAT 2019

At the LogiMAT 2019, Leuze electronic presented its industry-specific knowledge in intralogistics and its expertise in Safety@work. Over 55 years of experience in this particular industrial field have made the sensor people experts in intelligent, cost-efficient sensor systems for use in conveyor and storage systems. Together with its customers, the optical sensor manufacturer from Owen/Teck develops specialised, cost-efficient products that are tailored to the individual needs of the customer. The focus of the company's trade fair appearance this year was on effective and safe sensors for continuous conveyors, high-bay storage devices and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Renishaw to participate in 2019 AMUG conference

From March 31st to April 4th, 2019, Renishaw returns to the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) conference. Hosted at the Hilton Chicago in Illinois, USA, the event will bring together additive manufacturing (AM) users from all over the world and provide a platform to share knowledge. As part of the event, Renishaw will exhibit on stand D14 as well as share its expertise in two presentations and a training laboratory. The company is also hosting a pre-show tour of its West Dundee Additive Manufacturing Solutions Center on Sunday March 31st.

Schaeffler announces changes to leadership team

Based on the decisions of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG on March 1, 2019, the Schaeffler AG Executive Board took the following personnel decisions for the Executive Board of the Schaeffler Group as described below. As to date, the Executive Board will consist of eight Managing Directors and four Regional CEOs. The team will become younger and more international. The members are almost exclusively leaders with many years of experience within the Schaeffler Group.

How igus ready-to-use systems enhance warehouse efficiency

Enhancing storage capacity, these highly dynamic systems are designed for high throughput rates and often operate 24/7. Schneider Electric launches Panel Building Roadshow

Schneider Electric is launching its Panel Building Roadshow. This will bring Schneider Electric's panel building products to the whole of the UK over a four-week period. In total, the team will visit 38 customer sites to demonstrate the capabilities of the latest panel building technologies first-hand. The roadshow provides customers and prospects with access to Schneider Electrics offerings in the sector, as well as a chance for them to learn more about Schneider Electric's Panel Builder Portal.

IET Horizons Bursary for Renishaw apprentice Jack Chapman

Jack Chapman, an Embedded Electronic Engineering Apprentice at Renishaw, has been awarded an Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Horizons Bursary, with support from The Engineers Trust. Chapman will use the bursary to further his passion for engineering and aid his progression towards chartership. Chapman attended the IET Scholarships and Bursaries Celebration Ceremony, held on February 27th at the IET Savoy Place, London.
