igus is announcing that five of its iglidur high-performance polymers now officially comply with the fire safety requirements of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for aircraft interiors. Areas of application for iglidur plain bearings are, for example, bearing points in seats, tables and doors.

Mouser signs distribution agreement with Altitude Technology

Mouser Electronics has entered into a global distribution agreement with Altitude Technology, a designer and supplier of intelligent sensor technologies for the smart home and secure Internet of Things (IoT) market. As part of the agreement, Mouser Electronics becomes an authorised distributor of Altitude Tech's popular line of IoT Bit HAT modules and accessories, which easily integrate with the Raspberry Pi single-board computer to enable internet access, GPS location data, and Bluetooth connectivity.

EEF and Santander Mechanical Equipment Sector Bulletin

Henkel to be global reseller of HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers

Henkel is further expanding its partnership with HP for 3D printing systems. In addition to the close collaboration with HP's Open Platform for materials, the Adhesive Technologies business unit will become the first global reseller of HP Jet Fusion 3D printing products. With the partnership both companies aim to accelerate the adoption of 3D printing in industrial manufacturing.
