Following last year 's launch of the NSK academy online training platform www.nskacademy.com, a further new AIP+ tutorial module has been added to the site: the LAS-Set laser alignment tool for shafts. All of NSK's specially developed tutorials outline the optimum way to use the innovative range of maintenance and service tools that form an integral part of the company's AIP+ Added Value Programme. Integration: EPLAN and MelsoftiQWorks

AutomationML makes it possible! The new integration product from Eplan Electric P8 to Melsoft iQ Works by Mitsubishi Electric connects electrical engineering to automation. Data such as symbolic addresses, for instance, can now be exchanged bidirectionally with the current software suite. The results in Eplan Electric P8 are impressive: valid schematics, including bus wiring for PLC components amongst themselves, and top quality hardware configurations.

First keynote speech for UKIVA Machine Vision event announced

The first Keynote presentation for the UKIVA Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition will be delivered by Henry Harris-Burland, VP Marketing from Starship Technologies, creators of self-driving delivery robots. He will give a presentation outlining the capabilities of the robot and discuss the future, what they've learned so far, the challenges they have faced, social acceptance and more. Starship robots are advanced personal delivery devices that carry items within a 2-mile (3km) radius, using pavements to make their deliveries.
