Mouser signs distribution deal with Onion, boosts IoT offering

Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Onion Corporation, a global provider of highly integrated wireless microprocessor modules and Internet of Things (IoT) development kits. Through the agreement, Mouser will distribute the Omega2+ device, kits, and accessories, ideal for applications such as home automation, coding education, Wi-Fi media servers, robotics, and networking.

Reliance strengthen ultra high accuracy measurement capabilities

Reliance have invested in state-of-the-art measuring technology to further strengthen the capabilities of their Metrology department. A Zeiss PRISMO Navigator system has been part of the production testing and inspection process for the past 5 years, measuring the geometric form of machined parts to a high degree of accuracy and precision. Typically operating at accuracies less than 0.7 microns (ISO 10360), the PRISMO Navigator is recognised around the world for high-speed scanning and accuracy.

igus bearings and cable management systems at Subsea Expo

At this year's Subsea Expo, which is held at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre and runs from the 7th-9th February, igus will showcase its range of products and systems for subsea applications. Visitors to the stand (stand 105) will see the giant E4 energy chain that can withstand exposure to ice, wind, storms, salt water, oil and drilling mud. It can also bear heavy loads and features easy-to-remove crossbars so cables and hoses can be added or replaced quickly. Also suitable for vertical applications, the E4.350 can move nearly 15m up and down, guiding and protecting any heavy hydraulic hoses and cables.
