Allen-Bradley PLC starter kits for industrial automation at RS

RS Components is introducing two programmable logic controller (PLC) starter packs from industrial automation specialist Allen-Bradley, part of the Rockwell Automation group. The Micro850 and Micro820 Starter Packs contain all the hardware needed to get up and running with the Allen-Bradley Micro850 and Micro820 PLCs, respectively, including power supplies (PSU), controller accessories and graphic terminals. New features and frame sizes for WEG SSW900 soft starters

ESAB Dual Shield Prime low-hydrogen fcaw wires resist moisture

ESAB's Dual Shield Prime is a family of seamless, low-hydrogen (H4) non-copper-coated flux cored wires that combat moisture absorption in humid environments, delivering impact toughness down to -60degC. Tests performed in accordance with AWS standards show an initial level of 2.17ml of diffusible hydrogen per 100g of deposited weld metal; after 1 week of exposure with a 90 per cent RH at 30degC, Dual Shield Prime demonstrated just 2.35ml of diffusible hydrogen.
