RJ45 blockout devices help prevent unauthorised network access

Panduit's range of RJ45 jack blockout devices ensures the safety and security of a network infrastructure. Compatible with most RJ45 openings, the blockout device snaps into the RJ45 opening and can only be released using a special removal tool, thus preventing unauthorised access to the network, and saving time and money associated with data security breaches, network downtime, repair and hardware replacement.

Pickering Electronics launches 4x4mm through-hole reed relay

Pickering Electronics is launching what is claimed to be the industry's smallest through-hole reed relay. The Series 124 is part of Pickering's new ultra-high-density 4mm2 reed relay product line, which requires a board area of only 4x4mm for a very high packing density. Series 124 relays are also said to be the lowest-profile on the 4x4mm footprint, measuring just 9.5mm high. Devices are currently available in 1 Form A (energize to make) with options of 3V or 5V coils.
