The end of 2024 may be edging closer, but don't wait until a New Year for a new you - there's still time to finish the year as a Certified Expert. But not too much time; before the year draws to a close, only one scheduled CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) session has limited places.
Recent feedback of the course has praised the "excellent training and support", the "legendary knowledge of safety" and "the super welcoming and knowledgeable team."
In cooperation with TUV NORD, CMSE is backed up by working examples and real industry experience. The course has been specifically designed by Pilz to provide delegates with an overall view of Machinery Safety and a comprehensive understanding of the entire machinery lifetime cycle. Those who complete the training will be able to demonstrate their aptitude via an internationally recognised TV NORD-certified qualification and will earn the right to use the title 'Certified Machinery Safety Expert'.
Running from the purpose-built training site in Corby, Northamptonshire, the next available scheduled session is Monday 18 November to Thursday 21 November.
To attend a CMSE course participants need to possess working experience and a knowledge of the specialist area.
The Pilz International Qualification Programme (IQP) is divided into four levels; Introduction, Fundamental, Advanced and - the level at which CMSE sits - Expert. Delegates can start their journey at any level at any time. If potential participants of CMSE feel like they need a principal understanding of machinery safety before attending the course the City and Guilds 4-day course - which sits at Advanced in the IQP - is an ideal building block towards it.
Available dates for Certified Machinery Safety Expert can be found on the Pilz website. The course is also readily scheduled throughout 2025 and is now available to book.
