Pilz to present three machine safety seminars at HSE 2020
The Health & Safety Event, which takes place from 28 to 30 April 2020 at the NEC, is described as the UK's largest gathering of people responsible for running safe and efficient workplaces. Pilz Automation will be there, exhibiting, presenting and sponsoring the Machinery Safety Zone, which is an important new feature for 2020.
All seminars hosted at HSE 2020 are CPD-accredited and, with a packed schedule, delegates will have plenty of opportunity to gain points for their portfolio. Machine safety expert David Collier will be hosting the Pilz seminars and will be covering the following subjects:
- A Simple Guide to Sensors for Safeguarding of Machinery, 28 April, 13:15
- PUWER and Machinery Safety Compliance, 29 April, 11:15
- Maintaining Safe Distances Between People and Machinery, 30 April, 11:15
The Machinery Safety Zone will contain specially curated machine safety content, emphasising the point that while efficiency and productivity are important, the safety of employees should always take precedent.
