PSENenco absolute rotary encoder for SIL 3 and PL e controls
Pilz is introducing the PSENenco absolute rotary encoder for the safe detection of positions and speed on machinery.
Integrated within the housing are both magnetic and optical position sensing technologies to provide redundancy. According to Pilz, the PSENenco is suitable for SIL 3 and PL e safety control systems when used in conjunction with the PSSuniversal PLC and appropriate BG/TUV-approved software blocks.
