Understanding EN ISO 13855 and Safe Distances

On 20 October 2023, Pilz is hosting a free machinery safety webinar focused on understanding the standard EN ISO 13855:2010 - Safety of machinery – positioning of safeguards with respect to the approach speeds of parts of the human body.

Pilz will summarise how to select safe distances for devices including light curtains, foot mats, two hand controllers, as well as other protective devices in accordance with the standard. This webinar will also look at Type 2-, 3- and 4- electro sensitive protective equipment. The webinar will run from 9:30 to 10:30 on 20 October. Click here to register.
