New PROFIdrive profile tester and Encoder profile

Drive profiles free the user program from device-specific details. The more versatilely and comprehensively a drive profile can be used, the greater the benefit. With six application classes for Profibus and Profinet topologies, PROFIdrive covers a very wide range of applications. The new V5.1 profile tester combines simple operation with support during development and certification and can now also test drive-based safety. The new V4.2 encoder profile has also been released. Aerotech presents new IGM linear motion platform at Micronora

Aerotech presents innovative linear and rotary tables for demanding laser machining processes at this year's Micronora precision and microtechnology fair in BesanÃ§on France, which takes place from 25-28 September 2018. For the first time, the IGM linear motion platform, developed to meet high precision requirements, will be presented to a broad specialist audience: according to the manufacturer, unique, customer-specific assembly of the components directly on granite enables higher stiffness, longer travels and more cost-effective production.

Renishaw wins JobCrowd award for its graduate scheme

At the 2018 JobCrowd Awards, Renishaw was named first in the UK engineering and manufacturing sector for companies taking over 30 graduates a year. The company was also placed 42nd overall in the top 100 graduate schemes for all sectors. Renishaw offers eight graduate pathways, which can lead to global career prospects at all levels.
